I grew up in the Richmond, MI area and was involved with sports and exercise throughout my childhood and into my adult life. I currently live in Clyde, MI with my wife and 2 children, Vincent and Nora. I enjoy playing sports/games with my kids, coaching, rollerblading, and playing table tennis.
I went to Oakland University for both my undergraduate and Doctoral degrees. I am certified in LSVT for Parkinsons treatment, and I am working towards my certification in the McKenzie treatment method. I am always looking to build my knowledge base in the profession by learning from other therapists and through continuing education.
I enjoy working with many patient populations including geriatrics, athletes, post-surgical patients, balance patients, and neck, spine and extremity pain. I try to make my treatments personalized to the individual patient and not use a “cookie cutter” approach. I take into account individual needs and preferences and integrate these aspects with the best treatment methods for each patient. I like to have fun and joke around, when appropriate, while working with patients to make them feel at ease during their PT sessions. I believe a happy and encouraging environment provides the best atmosphere for healing. I pride myself on providing patient centered care and helping my patients reach their goals.
