Though I am new to Munger PT, I have been in this profession for over 20 years, graduating from Macomb Community College in 1992 with my Associate of Applied Sciences – PT Assistant degree. I obtained my license in the state of Indiana and later in the state of Michigan and am a Certified Clinical Instructor for PT Assistants through the APTA . I enjoy learning and believe you can learn something from everyone you come in contact with – colleagues and patients alike. I recently completed the McKenzie Part A course for the lumbar spine with plans to complete Parts B & C in the near future.
The part that I enjoy most about this career is helping people achieve their goals – whether it’s pain relief from chronic issues or progressing from using a wheelchair to walking with a cane due to recent injury or surgery. It’s a rewarding job with never a dull moment!
I am doing life with My Hero, High School Sweetheart and Husband of 28 years, Rich, our two adult sons, Ian & Joshua, and our energetic Aussie fur-baby, Hunter. We are all involved with our church (except Hunter, of course!) and enjoy camping together when all our schedules allow! My husband and I also enjoy Photography.
