I have been a physical therapist for 34 years. As a Master of Physical Therapy, I am a Certified Lymphedema Therapist, and hold a certificate from the Lymphology Association of North America. I love collaborating with patients and the treatment team to create the best treatment strategies that help them return to function especially when we are all successful. I also like to teach patients and students about various treatments, anatomy, etc. When patients and/or families get that “ah ha” moment, that is a thrill.
I am very involved in the community. I am a Master Gardener, sing in my church choir and I have performed in a few plays with the Port Huron Civic Theatre. I volunteer at a community garden and at Mid-City nutrition. I love adventure vacations having backpacked, white water rafted, biked through lower New Zealand and hiked across upper Scotland as a few examples.
